I have been using Weber for about 5 years now. They are in my neighborhood and it was a very convenient location to have my cars serviced. Once I started using them for routine service and developed trust, I started having them do some more complex jobs that I couldn't complete myself. I can't say enough good things about their mechanics, Tony and Pete. These guys are very skilled techs who really know their way around cars. They are both very well educated mechanics who are up on the latest tech in new cars and can also work on older, more rare vehicles. I have seen everything from Mercedes, Audi, BMW to old hot rods and American muscle cars in the shop. They will also work on the normal, mundane stuff that most of us drive on a daily basis.

Where these guys really shine is their ability to acutally trouble shoot a problem without throwing parts at it. They are skilled enough to properly diagnose an issue without wasting a lot of your time and money. They are both very honest guys who won't try and sell you a job you don't need. They will suggest things that they think I may need and prioritize the issues. Usually if they make a priority recommendation, I have so much trust in them I will go ahead with the job. I personally feel these guys are two of the best, well rounded mechanics that I have used anywhere. They make Weber Automotive truly a great place to get routine and complex service. I don't want to forget Mary, their service writer and office manager. She is a great lady with fantastic communication skills and a dynamic personality. She is a consumate professional and it always is a pleasure to see her. She really rounds out the operation.

Overall I have always been very satisfied with Weber Auto. I have 4 cars and I have been using Weber for about 5 years now, needless to say I see them frequently. We have a long history together and a great relationship. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. I have completely ditched the dealer in favor of Weber, where I know I get treated better in all respects.

I am Bryan Weber, and our team has a simple way to explain what is happening and how to get your cool air back. Why Cold Air Turns Warm at Idle Your air conditioning relies on airflow through the condenser, which sits at the front of your vehicle. While you are moving, natural airflow cools the condenser and helps produce cold air. When you stop, the system depends on an electric cooling fan to keep that air moving. If the fan does not run at idle: Airflow across the condenser drops Pressure in the AC system climbs The vents start blowing warm air In some cases, the engine temperature can also creep up This is one of the biggest reasons AC feels cold while you are driving but warm at a stop. A Quick DIY Check You Can Do Safely If you are comfortable taking a quick look, try this: Park safely, set the parking brake, and pop the hood. Start the engine and turn the AC to max.
