Have You Checked Your Car Lights?

It is a cardinal safety rule for any car owner to ensure their lights are in good working condition. Making sure your vehicle’s lights work is not just for your safety but also for protecting others on the road.

The Importance Of Checking Your Lights

Your headlights need to be functioning well to see where you’re going, but there are a lot of other lights on the car that are also very important, such as:

  • Marker lights,
  • Turn signals,
  • Brake lights, and
  • License plate light

These lights let everyone on the road know where you’re at, especially when driving in the dark, in the rain, or when there’s reduced visibility.

Weber Automotive’s Courtesy Inspection of Car Lights

Knowing the role car lights play in road safety, Weber Automotive makes it a point to do a courtesy inspection of the lights on every vehicle that comes to their shop. So, when you come to Weber Automotive for servicing, they will check all the lights in your car and inform you if any bulb is out.

They will also tell you about the lens condition. With all their years in the industry, they even perfected a system for cleaning up cloudy lenses and making them nice and clear again. Restoring clouded lenses is necessary to improve visibility and driver safety, especially when driving at night.

Because when plastic coatings on car headlights naturally turn yellowish or hazy over time, the lights’ illumination drops up to only 20 percent of their original brightness, thus, putting the driver at greater risk of collision.

Your Light Problems, Our Mechanic Solutions

You may think it is a chore to check your vehicle lights’ condition, but they are necessary for visibility and road safety. Thankfully, Weber Automotive makes it a part of their courtesy inspection. So, if you don’t want to keep checking your car lights, just let Weber Automotive check them.
