When Comfort Turns into Concern
At Weber Automotive, we’re committed to keeping your vehicle not just running—but running safely and smoothly. Your shocks and struts play a critical role in both ride comfort and driver control. Knowing when they need replacement can prevent costly issues and improve overall safety.
Here are the top three signs it might be time to have your shocks or struts inspected.
Understanding the Signs of Worn Shocks or Struts
1. Excessive Bouncing or Clunking
One of the most obvious signs is a bouncy or unstable ride. If your vehicle continues to bounce after hitting a bump or dip, your shocks may be worn. Clunking noises when going over uneven surfaces can also point to loose or damaged components.
