Tires: Economy vs. Premium

Are premium tires really worth it? If you are in need of new tires, you might be searching for a new set of cheap tires but be wary of deals that seem too good to be true. A good set of tires is essential for safe driving and keeping your vehicle in good shape!

Why Does it Matter What Tire You Buy?

Not all vehicles are created equally, the suspension system is engineered for a certain type of tire, certain load rating, sidewalls, tread patterns, rubber compounds. These components can affect how your car is going to handle, accelerates, stops, and more. So, if you go to get your tires replaced and decide you don't want to spend the money on the tires that are supposed to be on your vehicle, it will not handle the way it's supposed to.

In addition, a "cheaper" tire will not last as long as a premium tire. They might be old or used. Old tires, even if they are unused, can be a danger on the road as the materials will eventually degrade and not provide the proper support or traction when driving and stopping.
