Why is Suspension Important?

The animated video shows a worn shock, which causes the car to bounce. Shocks are an important competent of the suspension because the shock keeps the vehicle on the ground. So instead of bouncing like a basketball on the pavement, it holds it down to the ground, minimizing the time that it bounces off the ground. If the car is bouncing too much, you lose control of steering, braking, and accelerating. So, it's important to keep all that working properly.
